On 13 March 2013, the prestigious Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) of the Mexican University organized a lecture and a working breakfast with Filip Brkovic, a PhD student who is on a two-month study visit at the ITAM. The lecture was arranged by the Department of International Relations of the University, i.e. full-time Professor Stéphan Sberro,  and was attended by academics from this department, representatives of the EU Delegation in Mexico City, as well as UNAM scholars.
Philip Brković graduated from the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, completed his master's studies at Cambridge University and is now a PhD student of the Erasmus Mundus Programme. The subject of his doctoral dissertation and also of this lecture was "An Assessment of Possibilities for Inclusion of Upper-Middle-Income Economies in the Fair Trade System - Case Study Serbia".
The lecture had two parts: the first one related to his research work on the modalities of "fair trade" and the second was devoted to the presentation of economic, cultural and tourism resources of Serbia, as well as a background of Serbia's European path.
